How to change your TailEZ password

If you signed up to TailEZ with an email address and password, you can change your password from the Profile section in Settings.

If you use Apple or Google sign-in, the password option is not shown because your login is managed by that provider instead.

Before you start

• Make sure you know your current password.
• Your new password must be at least 6 characters long.
• Your new password must be different from your current one.
• TailEZ will sign you out of all devices after the password changes successfully.

What happens next

TailEZ re-checks your current password before saving the new one.

If the change succeeds:

• your password is updated
• you are signed out of all devices
• you need to sign in again with your new password

Common issues

"Current password is incorrect"

The current password field must match the password you use to sign in now. Check for:

• typing mistakes
• an old saved password
• accidental spaces at the start or end

If you cannot remember it, use the password reset flow instead of changing it from inside the app.

"Password must be at least 6 characters"

Choose a longer password and try again.

"New password must be different from current"

TailEZ does not allow you to save the same password again. Pick a different one.

"Passwords do not match"

The confirmation field needs to match the new password exactly.
