How to change your TailEZ email

If you signed up to TailEZ with an email address and password, you can change your account email from the Profile section in Settings.

If you use Apple or Google sign-in, the change email option is not shown because your sign-in identity is handled by that provider.

Before you start

• You need your current password.
• The new email must be different from the one already on your account.
• TailEZ checks that the new email address is valid before sending the change request.

What happens next

After you submit the form, TailEZ sends the email change request to Supabase.

• A verification email is sent to the new email address.
• The email on your account does not change until the confirmation step is completed.

Once the verification step is complete, your account will use the new email address for future sign-ins.

Common issues

"Password is incorrect"

The password field must match the password for your current TailEZ account email.

"Please enter a valid email address"

Check that the new address is complete and correctly formatted.

"New email must be different from current"

Enter an address that is not already the one on your account.

"This email is already in use by another account"

The new email is already linked to a different TailEZ account and cannot be reused here.
